Padel Point to Host Australia’s Official Asia Pacific Padel Tour Event: APPT Padel Point Grand Slam Sydney
Sydney, Australia – August 2026 – Padel Point is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the Australian leg of the Asia Pacific Padel Tour (APPT), welcoming the prestigious APPT Padel Point Grand Slam Sydney to Sydney from 13–15 November 2026. The tournament will be held at Padel Point Bankstown in Sydney, and will feature both professional and amateur competitions across male, female, and mixed categories.
The Asia Pacific Padel Tour is the region's leading professional and amateur padel circuit, creating opportunities for players to compete at the highest level while supporting the continued growth of the sport throughout Asia-Pacific. The tour spans multiple countries and connects a rapidly expanding community of players, clubs, brands, and fans. According to APPT materials, the circuit has hosted more than 2,600 registered players from over 90 nationalities and generated more than 21 million social media impressions across its digital channels.
The Sydney Grand Slam is part of a broader international calendar that includes stops in cities such as Osaka, Singapore, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, and Karachi, reinforcing Sydney's position as one of the key destinations in the sport's growth across the region.
As one of APPT's premier Grand Slam events, the tournament will offer USD $13,000 (≈AUD $18,000) in professional prize money, with professional and amateur divisions for men, women, and mixed teams.
