You don't need to own a racket to play padel, and you don't need to guess before you buy one. At Padel Point in Bankstown you can hire a racket and balls for your game, and if you're thinking of buying, you can try the exact racket first. This guide explains the prices, how hire works, and how our racket demo works.

Padel racket hire at Padel Point
You hire a racket for a session, which is 2 hours.
| Where | Racket | Price per session (2 hours) |
|---|---|---|
| Racket vending machine (available all the time) | Basic racket | $5 |
| Staff on the courts (7am to 10pm) | Basic racket | $5 |
| Staff on the courts (7am to 10pm) | Premium racket | $10 |
| Staff on the courts (7am to 10pm) | Ultra premium racket | $15 |
Premium and ultra premium are professional-level rackets. The more expensive the racket, the higher the tier, because the build quality is better. They are hired from our staff, so they're available while staff are on the courts, 7am to 10pm. Our team can show you the options and help you choose.
Padel ball hire
You can hire three balls for $3 per session (2 hours). Get them from the ball vending machine or from the reception counter, at the same price.
Try before you buy: demo a racket
Rackets can cost hundreds of dollars, and the best way to know if one suits you is to play with it. That's why we have a demo racket for every model we sell.
- Choose the racket you're thinking of buying. Browse our padel rackets, or ask in the pro shop.
- Hire the demo racket for $25 a session. You play with it on the court for a session.
- Decide. If you like it and want to buy that model, you pay the remaining price and take home a new, unused racket of that model. For a $600 racket, you pay the remaining $575. If you don't buy, the $25 is the cost of the demo.
Demos are arranged at the club, not online, and they need a staff member present, so they're available while staff are on the courts, 7am to 10pm. Pop into the pro shop, or contact us to arrange a time. If you're not sure where to start, read our guide to choosing a padel racket.
